Importance of A Platform for Art Promotions

A picture is a poem without words. And every artist has a divine touch in their senses which they emboss via art. In previous eras, it was a little easier to get noticed around due to limited competition and limited variance in topics of interest. But with the growing competition, marketing and variety of choices to focus on, it’s getting more and more difficult for today’s artists to get noticed. The arts are deeply influenced by culture, and every culture across the globe varies so much that it’s tough to break the barrier and present your showcases that spread the color of arts to other societies. Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. Artists work for art and not for marketing, so the question arises; how can we spread the wonders about the arts to all the art lovers across the world? How can art lovers access art from various cultures and societies? With the advent of technology, television and Internet became two viable platforms for artists to present the best of their work. There are two ways to get connected via technology

A) Artists find the platforms or
B) Platforms find the artists.

Most artists love their art and are not educated about the abundance of platforms across the world, which can promote their work globally. Also it has become increasingly difficult for young emerging artists to make a name for themselves through the traditional gallery network, which is facing tougher financial conditions and is less willing, to invest in new talent, favoring the established artists. Hence it’s far easier for them to adapt to the changing times and allow a platform to expose their wonderful works of art, bringing it to people's doorsteps. One such, innovative platform is provided by Alice McLaughlin – Frames & Fortune the TV show airing on Brighthouse InfoMas (http://www.framesandfortune.com). Frames & Fortune aims to bridge a bonding of artist genres and art lovers globally. To bring the best in front of the world, to find the next Da Vinci, Picasso, Matisse - Alice has taken her show a step up to travel across the world from metros to obscure alcoves, from mountains to plains, from snow to desert and present artists with a platform to reach all art lovers across the globe. The premise of Frames & Fortune, the TV show is to find existing art masters – to discover new ones - and to let the world know about techniques, works of art, current tendencies in their art, color schemes, etc. which will serve as guide for novice artists and art lovers alike. Creativity is contagious, so pass it on…. good work Alice; we hope to see more and more talented artists get noticed on the Frames & Fortune TV show.
